As we continue to create breakthroughs at the forefront of technology, we are looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant to help the planning and implementation of our marketing and events activities. Working within the marketing team, you will support the daily marketing activities and event management to help facilitate our attendance at a variety of events. 

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in multiple strands across the business. As a fast-scaling start up, this role offers the opportunity for significant learning and professional development in a fast-paced industry. 

You will also have the rare opportunity in NI to work on projects with cryptography, quantum resistant computing and a vast range of technology, from autonomous vehicles to drones. With the predicted rise of connected technology, the opportunities are endless!

What you will do:

  • Support and optimise ANGOKA’s marketing and social media activities
  • Coordinate and facilitate events within scopes and schedules, and liaise with stakeholders
  • Research and coordinate company resources to ensure we are attending appropriate events and conferences
  • Assist with the creation and editing of new collateral, decks, and documents
  • Support ANGOKA’s applications to events, awards and other commitments
  • Additional marketing, copywriting and administration duties where necessary
  • Adhere to relevant processes and contribute to the development of new processes as required
  • Other reasonable requests to deliver the business needs 

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills. Strong relationship building skills
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field (or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisational skills, and a high attention to detail 
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to grasp a variety of platforms and systems quickly 
  • An analytical mind, with the ability to think strategically and demonstrate proactive problem solving
  • Some knowledge of social media platforms
