ANGOKA’s role​

ANGOKA is enabling resilient end-to-end authentication across distributed systems for rapid-impact defence applications by employing retrofittable hardware ‘fingerprints’ to create trust. By building a demonstrator, ANGOKA is validating this technology in realistic defence scenarios such as UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) communication. The demonstrator will support multiple use cases, including UAV-to-UAV communication, Command and Control communications between a Ground Control Station (GCS) and a UAV, ISR downlink, and intra-swarm communication.​

Project overview

The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) helps the UK Government access innovative ideas, equipment and services faster for national security and military users. The ReHawSec project is demonstrating how ANGOKA's core security solution can be defence-hardened for multiple safety-critical use cases.
