RECAP: ANGOKA highlighted at Northern Ireland Business Showcase

September 16, 2021

As a Belfast-headquartered company, ANGOKA were delighted to be selected by the Northern Ireland Office as a key example of an exemplary Northern Irish start-up. Yuri Andersson (CEO) and Daniel Ruiz (Director, Smart Cities and Mobility) each participated in panels during the event, speaking about the relationship between industry and academic and the future of Smart Cities and Mobility, respectively.

We were also pleased to be mentioned by Lindy Cameron, CEO of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, during her main stage presentation.

Crucial discussions were had with key representatives from industry and government during the full-day event. Finally, Steve Berry (Executive Chairman) attended a private City of London evening reception at Guildhall in honour of the Showcase, while Yuri Andersson attended a morning reception at Number 10 Downing Street, where he met with key government officials and the Prime Minister.

We are honoured to have been recognised as one of Northern Ireland’s foremost start-ups, and are looking forward to innovating further to protect Smart Cities and Mobility.
